Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Optometric Assistant to join our eye care team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, support the optometry team with clinical and administrative duties, and ensure a smooth patient experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment with a focus on vision health and customer service excellence. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK FULL TIME - 5 DAYS A WEEK (some Saturdays). Duties: Greet patients warmly and assist them through check-in and check-out processes at the front desk. Prepare patients for eye examinations by updating electronic medical records (EMR). Assist the optometrist during eye exams, including setting up equipment and providing patient instructions. Conduct preliminary tests such as auto refractor, NCT, FDT, Optos, and other diagnostic procedures. Manage appointment scheduling, reminders, and follow-up communications. Handle retail sales of eyecare products
