Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience Experience: 1 to less than 7 months Work site environment: Odours. Dusty Work setting: On-site customer service. Commercial. Residential. Urban area. Various locations Tasks: Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements. Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding. Prepare flooring plans and scheduling. Measure, cut and install carpeting on floors. Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings. Prepare and install hardwood floors. Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings. Conduct moisture, ph, temperature and other tests prior to flooring installations. Estimate costs and materials. Prepare floors for installations. Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants. Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces. Perform direct glue-down carpet installations
