Apiary Worker

Salary: $18.50 to $23.00 hourly (to be negotiated)

Languages: English Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work site environment: Outdoors. Hot. All weather conditions Work setting: Rural area Tasks: Maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment. Harvest crops. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Interac with bees based on your knowledge of their biology, behaviour, ecology and caste system Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Hand-eye co-ordination. Ability to distinguish between colours. Standing for extended periods. Walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Gloves Personal suitability: Team player.
