The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties: Provides care and active listening to clients, making certain they feel safe and respected;Carries out security checks on a regular basis to maintain client safety and security, never leaving the shelter unattended;Coordinates client appointments and transportation needs;Monitors who is in the shelter at all times;Conducts intake with new clients, including case planning, providing hygiene essentials, and ensuring they are aware of applicable conditions of stay;Helps provide consistent client care and communication across shifts by using the logbook to stay up-to-date on, and keep others aware of relevant information such as; current clients, safety concerns, maintenance needs, BT/CT calls, etc. Identifies grocery needs and does shopping as needed;Assists clients in the preparation of meals;Provides referral services with the clients consent;Prepares materials in advance of daily programming according to the pre-deter
