Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Work site environment: Underground Tasks: Test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment. Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators and other electro-mechanical equipment. Replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators and other components. Perform static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotors. Perform some machining to recondition or modify shafts, commutators or other parts. Perform on-site servicing and repair. Test and repair or replace faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear. Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
