Hog Farm Worker

All weather conditions Tasks: Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses. Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Perform pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering iron and other medication(s), identification of piglets, and castration. Treat livestock health issues. Feed and tend animals. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Perform general farm duties. Write daily basic progress reports. Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops Area of specialization: Agricultural livestock service.
