Confined spaces. Noisy. Dusty. Cold/refrigerated. Hot Work setting: Urban area. Rural area Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Measure weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting. Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials. Perform pre-operational inspection. Read blueprints to determine work requirements. Clean and lubricate cranes. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures. Instruct apprentices. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
