Food Service Supervisor

Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Tasks: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food. Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures. Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation. Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage. Prepare food order summaries for chef. Supervise and check assembly of trays. Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys. Plan and manage budgets. Establish work schedules and procedures. Assist in the establishment of unit policies and procedures. Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards. Estimate labour costs Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate.
