Logging Truck Driver

Salary: $28.69 to $40.62 hourly

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled LOGGING Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting timber safely and efficiently across various routes, generally in Southern Okanagan - Fraser Valley to Revelstoke or Kamloops but requires some flexibility. This role requires a strong commitment to reliability and safety. Duties: Operate various types of trucks including Peterbilt and Western Star with B-Trains, tridem and long-loggers.. Drive manual transmission.. Load and unload cargo efficiently while ensuring safety protocols are followed.. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.. Navigate delivery routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.. Maintain accurate records by paper and/or ELD.. Collaborate with dispatchers and/or office support and/or owner to ensure timely delivery schedules are met.. Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations
