Languages: English Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years Experience: Experience an asset Work setting: Dental practice Tasks: Conduct initial dental assessments. Consult with dentists on patient care. Instruct patients regarding oral hygiene. Clean and stimulate the gums to prevent gum disease. Apply fluoride treatment Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Dental Hygienists Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks.
