Bending Machine Operator

Languages: English Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year Work site environment: Dusty. Noisy Work setting: Metal product fabrication industry Tasks: Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment. Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products. Investigate problems to fix or make minor repair. Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines Equipment and machinery experience: Overhead crane. Saws. Shears. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Public transportation is available Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Standing for extended periods. Work under pressure Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots Personal suitability: Judgement Health
