Languages: English Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Work site environment: Outdoors. Dangerous. At heights. Noisy Work setting: Fabrication. Various locations. New construction (Not pre-engineered). Re-vamp and renovation Tasks: Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms. Perform job-site calculations. Signal crane operators to position units according to blueprints. Align, weld or bolt units in place. Unload and position steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification. Ironworker Trade Certification. Working at heights training. Ironworker Red Seal Certificate. First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate. Fall Arrest
