BACKGROUND: SCO is a growing and dynamic regional First Nation organization that represents 33 Anishinaabe and Dakota Nations and more than 92,000 citizens in what is now southern Manitoba. OVERVIEW: Reporting to the Comptroller, the Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for financial accounting and administrative functions, including accounts payable, expense claims, and back up to payroll functions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Accounts Payable: Ensures proper supporting documentation for accounts payable transactions including proper delegated signing authorities for purchase commitments.
