The Branch Librarian performs a wide variety of public library routines. The Librarian is central to the delivery of public library service to the community. All operational and administrative library duties are the responsibility of the Librarian. The Librarian must be able to work independently, and exercise initiative and independent judgement based on a thorough understanding of library policies and procedures. The Librarian must be precise in execution of duties and work effectively with the public. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES & SKILLS1. Skilled in relating to the public in a friendly, positive manner.2.
