Urban area Tasks: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders. Bake mixed dough and batters. Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food. Prepare special orders. Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods. Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards. Operate machinery. Organize and maintain inventory. Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit. Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs. Take customers' orders. Stock refrigerators and salad bars. Sharpen kitchen knives. Serve customers at counters or buffet tables. Scour pots and
