Position Summary: The Human Resources Manager provides practical HR advice and manages day-to-day people processes at Foothills Country Hospice Society (FCHS). Working closely with the Executive Director, Directors and Team Leads, the Manager supports fair, consistent people practices and a respectful, healthy workplace that reflects the hospice's mission, vision and values.. This hands-on role combines employee relations and leader support with recruitment, HR administration, benefits, HRIS management, workplace assessments and centralized HR support for volunteers. The Manager exercises independent judgment within approved policies and delegated authority, maintains accurate records and efficient processes, and brings forward recommendations on complex or sensitive matters.
