Logistics, materials, and supply chain management Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year Work setting: Construction industry Tasks: Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials or business services. Negotiate offers from suppliers. Consult with suppliers. Review quotations. Determine contract terms and conditions. Establish delivery schedules. Monitor progress of delivery schedules. Contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems. Select and purchase equipment and supplies. Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers.
