Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Tasks: Compute dimensions, sizes, shapes and tolerances of workpieces. Inspect final products. Set up machine tools such as lathes, milling machines and grinders. Test prototypes and production tools. Instruct apprentices. Verify machined parts for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments. Program CNC machine tools. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Position, secure, measure and work metal stock or castings to lay out for machining.
